Just got back from my nephew’s first birthday party. I haven’t attended a kiddie party in a long time so I kind of went to a trip down memory lane remembering my parties and the parties I went to when I was younger, which were usually held in McDonald’s or Shakeys.

It’s nice to know that most of the games weren’t all that different, but I miss the Palayok (Filipino version of the Pinata) and Pabitin (square grid made of bamboo where prizes are hung and kids jump up to reach the prizes). This one was fun, too, though. The magician wow-ed me (like, really), I won a prize in the Bring Me game, and got me a nice loot bag, too! And yes, I am also 23 years old. Great party, man! Haha

There was also beer in Adam’s party, supposedly for the grown-ups. Supposedly. Well, we start ‘em young.
