If a psychic ever foretold I’d be doing this, I would’ve laughed the incredulous thought off, until about two weeks ago. Me, dive? The only time I’m ever near the ocean is when I cover beachfront events for magazines or produce summer segments for a TV show. I can swim only in waters shallow…

So happy that my friends were able to experience the joys of diving :)

I was killing time when I noticed a change in the new Facebook Timeline. While scrolling down, I saw the Notes feature again and found the many Facebook questionnaires I had answered (most were from when I was very bored after graduating from college four years ago). The first thing that came to mind was, “wow, I was EXTREMELY bored.” I laughed at most of my answers as they sounded too over eager and, well, I seriously lacked any sort of writing style.

Anyway, here’s one of them, which I decided to re-do for fun.

Makati City, the central business district of the Philippines, is known for not being very friendly to photography enthusiasts, so we often resort to guerrilla photography. Thankfully, the Canon EOS M allows me to shoot nightscapes and pass off as using a basic point-and-shoot camera as opposed to a pro camera that may look imposing and attract attention.

Here’s a pic of one of the major thoroughfares in Makati, taken with a 50mm 1.8 mounted on a Canon EOS M, which was hoisted on a traffic light pedestal (DIY tripod haha)

This looks familiar. :)
