Manic Monday is an understatement. There is just so much work to do, that I even had to check my mail through my mobile phone to see if important e-mails came in. I am currently in the gym, as we speak, and it’s not fun to spend the 30second break reading mails while panting my lungs out.

The only good thing about today was how fast time passed.

I wish it were March already.

Liam Thomas. I’ve posted a number of photos of my cousin’s son, Adam, in the past. One look at that kid is enough to find the silver lining on a bad day hence, I felt the need to share his cuteness. Three days ago, my cousin, his wife and Adam welcomed another boy, Liam. My cousin and I were tweeting each other while he was nervously waiting for his wife, who was in labor at the time. I told him to “twitpic” a photo of his 2nd son when he can so we can all see. A few hours later, that left most photo of a 7-lb. baby was “Twitpic-ed” and posted on Facebook.

The other 2 photos on the right are pictures of Adam adoring his baby brother. The lower right photo is a screen shot from a video of him kissing his brother and then clapping and cheering after. I saw the video first thing, when I went online after I woke up. It made my day.

Welcome to the world, Liam Thomas ♥

*photos from the parents :)

Domesticated dad. Mom is away for the weekend so dad and I are in-charge of the grocery shopping for the week. My dad doesn’t do the groceries with my mom, nor does he like staying in the supermarket for a long time, so this is something special.

Here he is, totally oblivious that I was taking a photo of him until he heard the camera-snapshot-clicking sound and chased me down the aisle. He was too slow because the cart was heavy.

#Day 14  #2012  #Personal

In the midst of a very heavy and tight work schedule, my colleagues and I still managed to surprise our boss, who will be celebrating her birthday on the 15th. Such are the little things that light up the day and ease up the workload a bit.

Not in photo: Me.

Traffic. More fun in the Philippines. When you have a traffic crossing guard who dances like Michael Jackson, I’m sure it won’t be as irritating to be stuck in traffic. He also looks pretty effective in managing traffic with that kind of confidence going on. With almost every body grouchy in the morning (at least before the daily ingestion of caffeine) and a job that requires you to stand for hours on end, his high spirit and go-to attitude is one to be idolized.

I picked up my phone from my bag and when I unlocked it, it looked like this!!!!!!!

Dream Game. I went to both Ateneo and La Salle—the former for college, the latter for, well, single year/grade that came before. I was a huge Archer fan in high school and even got to enjoy 4 out of the 5 straight championships that La Salle celebrated. When I went to college, I’d watch and cheer for Ateneo, too. Except, of course, when they played La Salle.

It’s been a while since I squeezed myself into a basketball arena along with 22,999 rabid fans of either school, and got pumped up by deafening drum beats of both camps. On Feb 5, the team roster of then-amateur Archers that I cheered my lungs out for will go up against the team roster of then-amateur Eagles that I yelled expletives at…and I scored me tickets!

I love Ateneo to bits, but I’ll be donning my Gang Green shirt for this game. I am crazy excited.

Oh, oh! I just HAVE to do this since it’s all the craze here:

Allow me to go all first world problems for today.

My 6-year old gym shoes are dying a slow death. It chooses to break even after having superglued it twice. Maybe third time’s a charm?

Year 2012, Day 2:Some sort of unease has enveloped my very being today, brought about by several realizations about how I am living my life thus far.

I blame it on this concept best known as “quarter-life crisis.” And in times like these, I know I can count on a John Mayer song for comfort.

So scared of getting older, I’m only good at being young. So I play the numbers game to find away to say that life has just begun” -John Mayer, Stop this Train

Year 2012, Day 1: My only resolution this year is to make every damn thing count.

Happy New Year.
